Chinhoyi University of Technology

The Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) started as a degree program in 2001. The main focus of Chinhoyi University of Technology is to lead the way in finding solutions to national problems. Therefore being technologically oriented gives a platform to solving Zimbabwe’s woes. The technological bias of the organization offers students enough professional training with cultural enlightenment, hence the University motto “Technology, Innovation and Wealth”. Chinhoyi University of Technology has a fully established Directorate of Research that has been running for more than 10 years. CUT has an internationalization policy, and a system to establish research collaboration and partnerships to meet research goals. ZOU - Zimbabwe Open University

The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) is a State University providing Higher Education through Open and Distance electronic Learning (ODeL). Established in 1999, the State University operates under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development. The University has seven faculties: The Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Arts, Culture and Heritage Studies, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Commerce and Law, the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Technology. ZOU operates on a regional scale and has Campuses in all the ten provinces of the country. ZOU has a Virtual Regional Campus that caters for regional and international students.
